Charles Town Car Storage is for long-term storage of cars, small campers and other vehicles. We prefer a minimum of 4 months. For car enthusiasts and old timers, we can make some exceptions.

Slow charging while you are away: In long-term storage, a battery can die through no fault of its own. For this reason, we hook your car up to a dedicated, high quality battery maintainer, which will shut off when the battery is full, unlike other low-quality battery chargers that continue to force a charge on the battery. We like the Noco Genius 2 battery maintainer for this job.

Fuel conditioner: we ask that you arrive with your vehicle with as full of a tank is possible. It is at this time that a fuel conditioner is added to your gas tank, as ethanol-based gasoline today can break down and damage your engine.

Monthly starting of your vehicle to reach temperature: each month, we will run your car for approximately 10 minutes, or until the car reaches operating temperatures. This ensures that your car is ready to go when you pick it up.

Flat tire prevention: For the duration of your storage, your car will be parked on flat stopper tire ramps which prevent flat spots on your tires.
